Hun Sen Announces Economic Land Concession Moratorium Continues Until His Political Retirement

The economic land concession halt shall be extended in long term until his retirement from political arena, Samdech Hun Sen reiterated on 28 September 2012 at the Council of Ministers, adding that the company receiving rights to the economic land concession management can seek its investment partners but is not allowed to transfer the rights to the other companies. In case of violation of the set rule, the concession will be confiscated and converted to be social land concession for people. (Rasmei Kam, 29 September 2012)
