Argentina will cooperate with
Cambodia’s agricultural sector under its South-South and Triangular Cooperation
Fund. In the very near future, Cambodia’s Ministry of Agriculture will send its
experts to study possibility and potential in Argentina with the aim at
boosting the cooperation as soon as possible. This was made known during yesterday’s
meeting between Argentinean Ambassador Ana Maria Ramirez stationed in Bangkok
and agriculture minister Chan Sarun to discuss about the aforementioned
cooperation. It’s great to build cooperation with Argentina, the expert in
animal husbandry, crop plantation especially corn, bean and oil crop and so on,
since Cambodia is agriculturally based country, highlighted Mr. Chan Sarun,
adding that, on 15 March 2012, there was a visiting Argentinean delegation to
hold discussion with Cambodia’s ministry of agriculture by focusing on the
possibility of using the South-South and Triangular Cooperation Fund; during
which, both countries agreed to create working groups to orderly discuss with
each other concerning the preparation of agricultural cooperation of both
